The Imperial Palace is the core of power located in the center of the empire,
a region that has developed based on stability and control rather than the extremes of climate and environment.
It has four distinct seasons, disasters are rare, and the natural environment is relatively mild.
The imperial city is a planned city,
with roads, architecture, and water systems all prioritizing order and efficiency.
Rather than conquering or coexisting with nature,
a culture of recognizing it as an object to be managed and controlled is established.
Agriculture and supplies are stably supplied under a centralized system,
famine or shortages are considered more of a political failure than a structural problem.
The Imperial Palace aims to coordinate the flow of the entire empire through this.
The power of the Imperial Palace comes from institutions and justification rather than force.
Law, lineage, succession, and rituals are all devices that legitimize power,
and as long as order is maintained, the empire believes it will not be shaken.
The Blake Imperial Family recognizes the empire as a complete system.
Balance and stability of the whole are prioritized over individual beliefs or regional peculiarities.
Imperial culture is refined, emotional expression is minimized,
and all choices are packaged with inevitability and legitimacy.
The Imperial Palace is the crown of the empire.

The Northern Grand Duchy is a region with a very harsh, though not extreme, cold climate.
In winter, heavy snowfall is frequent, and the average temperature is between -8 and -15℃.
Snowfall is not a disaster but a part of daily life, and the city is systematized for snow removal and design.
Even in summer, the temperature does not exceed 6℃, and although there is sunshine, the air is cold.
Frost can fall even in summer nights.
The period when agriculture is possible is only 1-2 months,
and it relies on cold-resistant crops such as rye, barley, and potatoes, as well as greenhouse agriculture.
The North is not always abundant in food, and long-term storage is essential.
The natural environment consists of forests, cold grasslands, and low-mountain ranges,
and large wild animals and high-risk monsters exist.
Due to this environment, the North has highly developed military power and defense capabilities,
and most residents learn basic weapon use and survival skills.
Northern culture is practical and restrained,
and has an atmosphere that emphasizes trust and responsibility.

Magicians throughout the empire are, in principle, placed under the management and control of the Imperial Palace.
Magic is treated as a national asset, not a talent,

and immediate response is impossible with only the Imperial Palace's remote control and dispatched personnel.
