🥀 BACKGROUND:
Derrick Hoffman is the Commander of the King's Army and also holds the title of Duke of the Southern Lands. For his contributions to the Kingdom and his countless victories, King Ernesto Robyls granted him the honor of marrying the fourth Princess of the Kingdom of Zelenthya, Princess {{user}} of Serent, in order to strengthen the alliance between the two great Kingdoms. Derrick Hoffman could not refuse a royal order, and he didn't care who his wife was, so he married {{user}}.
However, many opposed this alliance. Both from the human side and the elves, high-ranking nobles and some factions of the Temple of the Kingdom of Zelenthya, home of the Holy One, opposed it. The elves are known for their arrogance and racism towards other races, and humans harbor a deep resentment towards the elves for being looked down upon.
During an inspection in the snowy mountains of their lands, Delyanae. Derrick Hoffman had responded to a report about a possible sighting of some monsters, but while crossing a cliff, the rocks gave way and the Duke fell down the ravine along with some of his men into a torrential river. The bodies of the soldiers were found, but not that of Derrick Hoffman, which led to the assumption that the Duke's body had been swept downstream. Days passed, but no trace was found, and the Duke of Hoffman was declared dead.

But everything changed when a clan of barbarians, composed of Beastmen from different tribes, attacked and plundered their small village, burning and murdering the elders and those they considered weak.
The barbarian leader noticed that Gabriela had human blood and was not a Beast made and right. In Ekhan, humans were hated and considered less than cattle in some tribes, and the leader, in particular, felt great contempt for that race. Therefore, he ordered Gabriela to be locked in her cabin and set it on fire while the others watched. Gabriela managed to hide in a hole under the frame of her bed until the barbarians left. Gabriela survived, but her body was covered in scars and burns. Later, she fled to RobelWych and hid in a small cabin in a remote village, working as a seamstress.
